Are we the waiting…

On October the 5^th was finally the day I waited all my life for. So it was a really weird feeling that I wasn’t excited at all. It was so unbelievable and surreal that I just couldn’t believe I would really see Green Day after all this years of being a huge fan of them.

Since the show wouldn’t take place in my hometown my mum and I had to drive to Cologne a bit early. It was raining like shit when we arrived in Cologne. A few diehard fans waited in front of the arena. We hadn’t a reason to wait in line that early cause we had seats anyway. So instead of waiting at the arena we walk around through the rain while waiting for my good friend Leila to join us. When she finally arrived we went to a café to chill out with some coffee and cake. Leila was so scared of me cause I was so relaxed and not hysterical in anyway.

We made our way to the arena at 6pm when they opened the doors. Holy shit I can’t tell you how fucking big this arena was and all these ppl with their Green Day shirts on, that was pretty cool. We checked out the nice merch but we didn’t buy some cause yeah I’m first really broke and on the other hand I already have so much Green Day stuff. We still had to wait for them to open the doors to the seat and standing area, so we just walked around for a while. Around 6.30pm they opened the doors and we searched for our seats. I was a little bit shocked how close we actually were to the stage but wasn’t still too excited, so I was shocked by this as well. There were so many seats and the standing area was pretty big as well, but ppl moved in pretty slow and bit by bit it got crowed. At some point we saw a small dude with black hair and two blonde highlights checking the guitars behind the stage, we were like OMG is that Billie Joe!?!?! We got nuts, I don’t think it was him but I’m still not sure at all.

At 7.30pm the support act Prima Donna popped on stage and start to rock the show. They were pretty cool but the sound was pretty fucked up that my ears start to hurt. I think it wasn’t the band’s fault, maybe the crew just fucked it up or they wanted Green Day to sound even better. The arena was pretty empty at this time and things didn’t get that crazy. You can describe their music as Rock’n’Roll with a glamour rock touch. The singer was really born as a performer and looked so cool with those tight pants together with this leopard coat. The highlight was when he throw up his coat and was half naked (he didn’t wear a shirt under the coat O_O). I have to say this view wasn’t that bad. :D They played a few songs but everybody was just waiting for Green Day to start. When the singer said that they would play their last song everyone was freaking out not because they were that bad but cause it meant Green Day would be next. I felt their pain it must sucked to support Green Day. ;) Watch how they performed "Soul Stripper" here. The sound on you tube is better as it was live.

When they left the stage it was already 8pm and I start to get really nervous when I saw the crew setting up the stage. The stage looked so awesome with this big wall of LSD screens looking like buildings. So the crew did their job well and then the famous pink bunny popped on stage. At this point it felt like watching a you tube video or Bullet In A Bible (the live concert DVD). I saw this so many times, when ppl were singing along to YMCA while the bunny was ex-ing a beer on stage, but being a part of all this was so out of this world. He entertained us for a while till he was escorted by some security guards. lol

Then we’re waiting again and my legs were already shaking, it was like waiting for death to come. Things got nuts and suddenly the light was out and the Song of the Century was blasting. Leila was like OMG the show starts let’s get our asses up, I can’t sit any longer. I was so shocked that the show would start in a few seconds and my legs were shaking so much that I could hardly stand.

Then… BOOM… out of nowhere Billie Joe, Mike Dirt, Tre Cool, Jason Freese and Jason White popped up on stage. OMG this is GREEN DAY was the only thing I was thinking. Leila was freaking out and rocked to 21^st Century Breakdown while I was so overwhelmed that I was just crying of happiness.

I finally realize this isn’t just a dream this is REAL. It was like seeing the ghosts of long lost friends coming alive in front of you. I couldn’t believe those are really the guys I look up to for so long and who gave me so much strength with their music. It was such a incredible feeling that I still have to cry when I think about it and write all this down.

So the other day they aired the radio concert Green Day played here a while ago and I recorded it. I don’t record all of it, I think I missed 2 or 3 songs, but there are still 8 songs.

So everybody who talks with me or read my tweets these days knew that I tried everything to win some tickets for that concert (you could only win them) but I had no luck!! =(

But then the other day I was able to experience it at least and it felt so good!!

Hey guys!!!

As some of you guys already know I won’t be around here for a week. I’m flying to Poland tomorrow to visit my relations and stuff!! So I’m sad I’ll miss the 21^st Century Breakdown release and you guys for sure!! But on the other side I can’t wait for Poland, I love this country!! I’m sure I’ll have a blast there, wish me fun!!

Hey music and CD lovers!

So maybe some of you remember that I started this “Records of the Year” thing, to document all the CDs I bought in 2008!! So now 2008 is over, so let’s take a look on what I bought:

Holly carp I spend 227,93€ for CDs last year!!! O_O But they were it worth, I love CDs!! Hehe it’s fun that I bought all the TAI CDs in 2008! =) Fast Times is definitively my fav record of 2008! I also really like While The City Sleeps, We Rule The Streets , Jazz ist anders, Stop Drop and Roll!!!, the Butch Walker records and the Warped Tour records I bought last year!! I’m excited what I’ll buy this year!!

But there is a lot of amazing music I can’t buy here in Germany, so I have to download them. So there is so much more music I want to share with you guys! I really like to recommend the music I love so I plan to make a music blog, where I’ll recommend my fav record of the week or the moth! Would you like that?

Hey TAI lovers!!

Yeah the last record I got in 2008 was “Almost Here“!! Finally I got it! I had it for sure on my computer before but I need to have the music I love physical too if that makes sense to you!! =) But it’s not that easy to get when you live in Germany so it took me forever to find it!! Hey CD lovers!

Oh I didn’t continue this for quite a while! I totally forgot to posts my new CD’s as you may remember I start this at the beginning of 2008 to document how many CD I bought in a year! So here you go!

I still couldn’t believe it that I got it BEFORE the release!! Man.. me the fucked up German weirdo who always gets the records when everybody had it, get it before the release date!! O_o I have know clue how this happened.. I think I really fall in love with that eBay dude!! I should ask him if he wants to marry me!! =)

Actually I really like this record a lot but I’m still disappointed with these guys that they cancelled the German concert without saying a word why they done that. So I never listen to it again since that day!! I don’t know but I can’t listen to it! It quite sad! =/

So AC, here you go, I know how bad you want it!! So this is especially for you cause you rock my Carden world=)

Jack comes in the TAI bus with some news and says to the band: “I have this idea of an experiment; I wanted to film for TAI TV,” to William “You as the band leader will swap the roles with another one on this tour for 10 days!” Butcher interrupts him “Yeah shit let’s do this!”, everybody looks kind of fretful at Butcher and he shut up. Jack gets really excited about his plan “So you’ll not know with which of the band leaders you’ll switch the roles and you’ll have to do his job in the band and so he’ll. There is no contact allowed with any band member of your own band they’ll just sent you a video message at the half of the experiment. Mike says “Mhmm that sounds really interesting, William do you think you can do this?”, Butcher interrupts him “ Yeah shit let’s do this”, everybody looks again kind of fretful at him and he shut up, so William answers “Okay, I’ll do this!”. While William packs some stuff Sisky bursts into tears and screams “Don’t go, I’m still a little man, I need you here!”. Mike is like “Come on Sisky it’s only for 10 days.” So William says “I’ll be back soon, Sisky!” and goes. Chizzy turns to Sisky and says “There is nothing to be worry about.”!

William arrived at the bus he’ll live in for the next 10 days and enters. He looks around and it was just a big mess, he was disgusted. Somebody knocks on the door and here was a DVD with a video message. He puts it in the recorder and watches it. Travis, the redhead, shown up, saying “Welcome on the Kings Carriage, stranger. So now I’ll give you some useful tips to handle my band mates. First never cough when Dan Dan is around it really annoys him. My job as a band leader is that here are always some bottles of Jack Daniels in the fridge. They’ll freak out if you don’t will do so. So that’s it! –silence and a grinning Travis- Oh one more thing don’t mess with the mess around.”

At the same time at TAI’s bus Travis enters the bus. He doesn’t look around just making his way straight to the play station and starts to play. Somebody knocks on the door and he gets a video message too. He starts watching it and William says: “Welcome on the TAI bus! Here are not many rules just keep the bus clean. You should take some special care for Sisky; he needs a lot of attention. Butcher has often some nightmares and is freaking out while dreaming, don’t care about that. You shouldn’t wake up Mike too early, he used to sleep long. That’s it! –Making the bogus journey face-“

In both busses the other band mates come in and they’re talking how it’s like to be in TAI resp. in WTK.

During the experiment a lot of annoying things happened, so nobody is really lucky with the new band constellation. So here should be a run of a couple of scenes with annoying things that happened in both busses.

WTK bus:
William can’t stand the mess and decides to clean the bus. He opens his cleaning suitcase he always takes with him, puts his gloves and a headband on holding a rag and starts cleaning the bus. When he’s done he happily lay down on the couch when his new band mates come in and mess around. William is pissed off and throws his cleaning stuff away.

TAI bus:
Sisky is ready to take a shower and sees like a million red hairs in the shower. He’s disgusted and leaves the bathroom without showering.

WTK bus:
They practice for the show and William should sing “Check Yes Juliet” and he always starts to sing “About a Girl”. The guys trying to tell him it’s the wrong song but William keeps on singing “About a Girl”.

TAI Bus:
Travis wants to do some sports (jogging) with the guys in the morning. He wakes them up during he pulls the curtains away from their bunks. They are all pissed off, especially Mike, cause its 6am.

WTK bus:
They’re all playing play station, when William comes in and asked if he could join the game. They agree. William wins and is happy about it, the other start to tell him he lose cause he cheated.

TAI bus:
Travis can’t sleep while Butcher had some nasty nightmares and is jumping up and down in his buck.

Five days later they get the video message from their own band mates. Butcher, Sisky, Mike and Chizzy shown up saying “Hi William!”, Butcher adds a random “Haiiiii!”. Chizzy goes on “We really miss you, the redhead is crazy, he wants us to do sport at 6am!”. Sisky adds “Man, we couldn’t even shower, it’s full of his stupid red hair, it’s disgusting!” –William making a disgusted face-. Sisky bursts into tears again and Mike hugs him. All say together ”Come back soon, Bilvy!”.

At the same time Travis gets his message. All say “Hi Redhead!”, Hunter goes on “Damn that dude is a cleaning maniac he’s like cleaning the whole day!” –Travis making a disgusted face-. Drew continues “You wouldn’t believe he’s not willing to sing “Check Yes Juliet”, Dan Dan adds “He always starts with that stupid song “About a Girl”, so please come back soon, dude!”.

Next morning in the Kings Carriage, William is relaxing on the couch reading a book when Dan Dan comes in and is really excited. Dan Dan says “Hey dude, have you clean the pigeons?”, William looks up slowly from his book and answers “Which pigeons, are you kidding me?”. Dan Dan gets angry “The pigeons are our friends and Travis takes always care of them. And today it’s their wellness day –showing the plastic pigeons to William-”, William totally cracks up. Dan Dan angrily continues “So I guess that means you don’t?”, William replies “HAHA No, I don’t clean these stupid plastic pigeons! HAHA!”. Dan Dan freaks out “WHAT?!?! STUPID?!?! Nobody says that about our beloved pigeons, so that’s it!”. Dan Dan starts throwing William’s stuff out of the tour bus while William is watching him amused. William says “Seems like I’m leaving?!” Dan Dan answers “You already did, dude!”. William picks up this stuff and leaves.

The experiment is canceled. There should be a short scene how the band leaders come back to there own bands and everybody hugs luckily.

Jack should show up in the end and summarizes the experiment, saying “So as you seen every band leader is only a good one in his own band. Don’t mess with the bands around.”

End.

Mike is sitting in the bus reading in a book with a black cover and writing something in it. Suddenly Butcher enters the bus and Mike’s terrified and trying to hide the book he was reading in. Butcher is like what are you reading and Mike says stuttering “It’s just.. just a mag.. just a mag about guitars!”, Butcher “Oh sweet, can I have a look on it?”. Mike prompt replies “Nooo! I mean I haven’t finished it yet, maybe later.”, Butcher is kind of confused and Mike leaves without saying anything more.

Later Mike lies in his bunk and reads in this black book again. Suddenly Sisky pulls the curtains from his bunk away screaming “What’s upppp?, Mike is kind of pissed off “Sisky, I’m writing some important stuff down, I need a rest, so go talk to Butcher!”. So Sisky goes to Butcher who sits in front of the bus putting his art stuff away when Sisky comes closer. Butcher says “Hey Sisky, you look kind of depressed, what’s wrong?”, Sisky answers “It’s Mike, he’s so weird, he’s always carrying this black book and nobody is allowed to see what he’s doing with it. That’s not the Carden I know!”. Butcher making a face of thinking hard and sudden both get it. Both looking straight in the camera with a shocked face saying synchronous “He’s writing a book!”. Sisky continues “Yeah he’s writing a book about the band, that’s why he follows me..” Butcher goes on “Damn he’s writing a book about our secrets!” Sisky is like totally scared thinking of his secret he tries to hide for years.

Sisky’s secret (should be shown in a short scene):
He’s sleeping with a pizza in his face every single night and thinking it’s good for his skin. He thinks Mike smells it and that’s the reason why Mike is always behind him on pics to be as close as possible to Sisky, cause he loves pizza too.

Sisky says “OMG Butcher we have to do something, he couldn’t write this book it would be the end of the band!”. Butcher looks down on his art stuff and is shocked thinking of his secret comes out.

Butcher’s secret (should be shown in a short scene):
Butcher meets some fans and give them a piece of his art they just paid for. They happily thank him. Suddenly Mike comes in with “Paint by number” submittals, asking “Are these yours Butcher?”, everybody looks shocked at him “You can’t draw? Your art is just a lie?!”. The fans get angry and start throwing his paintings at him, Butcher is like screaming “Noooooooooorrrrrrrrrr!!!!!”.

Sisky asks Butcher “Why are you screaming?” so Butcher wakes up from his little day dream saying “Shit we have to stop this dude!”. They’re going to the other guys and tell them the news. William and Chizzy are both shocked too. So they decided to follow Mike and trying to steal his book.

Chizzy is searching Mike’s bunk while he takes a shower. During his search he’s thinking of his, till now, good hidden secret.

Chizzy’s Secret (should be shown in a short scene):
He’s the real batman and it wasn’t just a Halloween costume last year. He’s fighting against the bad ppl at night when everybody sleeps.

So Mike comes back and see Chizzy, saying “What are you doing there, Michael?”, Chizzy starts to stutter “Ehmm… ehmm I’m.. me..”, Mike interrupts him “Were you about to change my bedclothes?”, Chizzy is like “Yeah that’s what I was doing!”. Mike thanks him and leaves, carrying the book with him he holds in his hands the whole time.

Butcher, Sisky, Chizzy and William meet again talking about how they failed on getting the book. They were just about to plan what they can do next when Mike suddenly enters with the book. William starts starring at the book thinking of his secret.

William’s secret (should be shown in a short scene):
William stands in front of a mirror trying to hide his Spanish accent. It wasn’t Ben Barnes playing Prince Caspian in the chronicles of Narnia it was him.

So William is suddenly so frightened that his secret comes out that he hits the book out of Mike’s hand. Sisky picks it up from the ground and open it. He looks kind of disgusted. –Silence-. Close up to the mag which turns out is just a porn mag with a black cover Mike put on it that nobody can see what he’s reading.

Everybody looks disgusted at Mike even Jack. Mike just says “Whatever!” takes his mag and goes.

End.

Hey my friends!!

You have no clue what happened this weekend, it totally sucks!!

As some of you guys maybe know I was about to go to a Gym Class Heroes concert on Friday!! I was so happy and excited about it!! I first drove to my friend to bring my stuff to her cause I was about to sleep by her! So we drove together to cologne where the concert should be!! We had to pay 33€ for the ticket for the train what a spoil!!

So when we were at the “Luxor” there was NOBOY only a sign on the door saying the show was shortly cancelled cause one of the band members get sick!! So we stand there thinking WTF are they kidding us!! I couldn’t believe it I was in an ocean of emotions a minute before I was super excited and the bam!! So we both were totally pissed off trying to make the best of that shitty day!! So we went in the city and shopped of frustration!! So finally I got the purple blazer I always wanted and a purple bag.. but it don’t make it better!!
So we drove home fucked up!!

When we were home we checked the net.. but there was now personal message form the band on any of their sides which was kind of annoying!! I mean Travis is posting stuff on his blog all the time.. so he could have tell us that the show is cancelled!! Maybe something really worse happened which I would be really sad about or they just don’t care!! I don’t know I’m really disappointed!! There was only a message on the side from the club saying the show was cancelled but I don’t read that before.. I never imagine that they would cancel it or so! So we drove the whole way for nothing!!

I know I couldn’t blame them for being ill that’s not the point but it’s sad that they don’t write something about it even a short message!!

Sad me on our way home!! HAHA I look like a little kid nobody wants to play with!!

Hey TAI freaks!!

You may know I finally got my copy of “Fast Times at Barrington High” and it was a long and hard way to get it!!

It all starts 8 moths ago when I watched the New Years Eve TAI TV Episode with my santi friend Lenchen! And William said to his band mates.. let’s make a new record this year!! So this was the first time I get excited about it!!

So later this year FBR posted this video telling us which new records will come out saying TAI will release one in August!! So I was totally excited for August.. being sure this will be the best summer ever!!

A bit later I get to know it’ll be August 19^th!! So I was so sure this would be the best day ever, me being a fan for exact one year and the release of the record.. perfect!! Lenchen and I made countdowns.. and were just excited for that day to come.. everything was awesome!!

And than---- cut---- THREE days before we should hold the record in our hands shitty Amazon told us they change the release date and we have to wait another THREE WHOLE MOTHS!!! OMFG I was like are you kidding me?!?! WTF I mean I waited 8 moths now, and I don’t want to listen to the record on the internet.. I want to wait till I have my own copy!! So we have to find another way to get it as soon as possible!! And damn we had good luck.. finding this guy on eBay, who I want to marry now!! He had it and was like I can send it to you on Thursday!! So wowowowoo.. we were happy again.. but it was still bittersweet cause we don’t had big faith in it!! But the dude doesn’t lied and we got it 4 days after the release!!

I was still sleeping and woke up when I heard the postman!! I was jumping up and my mum was already at the mail and I was like jumping around in the house floor with my pyjamas on!! THEN I SAW THE PACKAGE IN HER HANDS!!! Ahhhhh I was like screaming jumping and just being happy!! So it took me a while to get back to earth and unpacked it!! I was looking at the booklet and couldn’t believe I hold it in my hands now!! I read the thanks and was just like Awwwww they mention their girlfriends.. Jack and even Guy Ripley.. the whole crew.. it was so sweet and shows me again how sweet these guys are!! And all those amazing pics in it from William’s sister Courtney!!

But I couldn’t listen to it cause I was about to meet my friends and going to IKEA with them!! So I had to leave my record at home… unheard!! But it wasn’t that bad.. I was just happy the whole day and so hyper of all my happiness!! I was like hugging my friends to death and was like screaming “I GOT IT”… the ppl around us were really scared and I think my friend were too!! =) I’m sorry guys.. I knew I’m TMTH but thanks for loving me anyway!! =) So when I went home I start listen to it!!

I popped the cheap champagne and lay down one bed!! Reading the lyrics first again and the listen to “The Test” at first!! Man.. what should I tell you.. I was so touched and all the emotions over came me!! I just lay there listen to it getting goosebumps and started to cry!! I was happy and sad at the same time and just cry of its awesomeness!! I listen to a few more songs!! And fall in love with every single song on this record!! It took me hours.. cause I always had to stop and take a deep breath to go on!! I listened to every song a few times.. so I don’t listen to all of them this night!! I fall a sleep just being super happy!! Listen to the rest of the song the flowing days.. so I had more of all this excitement!!

So I just want to thank TAI for making this awesome record (even if they never read this)!! I give a damn on all those silly critics.. who don’t want to like it!! I think they created an amazing record and I appreciated this work so much!! It makes me so happy listen to it and it gives me that special feeling every time!! I cannot describe how much this band means to me!! I really love them from the bottom of my heart!! And I’ll always support them!!

Hey my friends over here!!

I totally forget to post this!! So here is comes: When I was with my friends on vocation a few weeks ago, we celebrated my birthday there for the second time!! Everything went wrong, we tried to barbeque but it didn’t work because of the shitty grill we had!! But in the end it was fun!! My friends are so awesome!! As you know they presented me a purple hoodie!! And my awesome friend Lenchen presented me this awesome CD, the new Vans Warped Tour record!! Wowowowowowowowowo!!!!

It was more than conveniently situated cause we had no music with us, cause they told us there wouldn’t be a CD-Player at all!! Argghh WTF?!?! So this was the only CD we finally had.. and we listen to it the whole week!! Luckily it had Cobra and TAI on it!! So we sung the two songs all the time!! Now it’ll always remind me of this awesome week!!

Hey my friends!!

I’m back!! =) OMG my weekend was perfect!! I had sooo much fun!!
My friends came on Saturday and the sun was shining!! It was a perfect day!!
And they brought more gifts, they’re totally crazy (in a positive way)!
I have to say they’re all young artists which could make such awesome
things on their own and they're the best cutest friends I ever had!!
